So here in front of us lie the remnants of what is left of Kil'jaeden the Deceiver; defeated, at least for now. Not really a world record kill as this scene has been reached by quite a large amount of guilds nowadays, mainly due to the changes done to the content of Burning Crusade before the Wrath of the Lich King. But at this point, seeing and playing through it all was a welcome experience, because otherwise we would have ended up being stuck in front of M'uru with no chance to see it all by ourselves. No legendary bow on the first kill though, sorry Rognar.
Now the plan is to have some more quality time with the achievements, and to wait and see what fun things still might appear related to the zombies and necropolises. The invasion that was launched by the next big evil thing determined to dominate the world, an opponent we will without a doubt meet eventually in Northrend.

M'uru, a noble creature, sacrificing himself due to knowing of what events his fate would unleash. Abused by the blood elves, and then by the subordinates of Kil'jaeden, he stands now next to the sunwell ready to do the bidding of the Deceiver. Yet again a being of good will has been corrupted to serve the means of Burning Legion; this time the corruption emerging as a dark creature called Entropius, ready to finish what his minions just before failed to do.
But as one could guess, the weakened state of the beings inside the plateau turned out to be his demise. Not maybe the best way to progress, but considering how close the new content in the form of the next expansion waits, it is one of the most reasonable options.

Not a place to be in a red shirt. What we got here is not an evil twin, but a whole pair of them. And these two are a pair that have rather crude fundamental principles for life; principles that have been memorized all too well to my liking. Even though the looks can deceive one at first, they are not a duo of kind girls at all.
The small details were all in the moves or lack of them thereof; a combination of a ballet, a mosh pit and a bunch of Greek statues. Confused? Now that is just Sacrolash beating on you, nothing to worry about.
In the end it all came down to the phrase "there cannot be one without the other", and maiming the vocabulary so that it fits the picture at hand just fine. A situation more easily reached during the dark hours of the night, I admit, but you can guess that we would not bother coming so far if our solution would only consist of using incomprehensible sentences and witty remarks. A solution to reach the goal to defeat Lady Sacrolash and her twin Grand Warlock Alythess. Twice the challenge, twice the fun, and twice the profit. Suits us.
Loot from the Eredar Twins:
And as a side note, even a good protective eyewear does not prevent me from noticing the rising competition, as both Ace and Wolf Pack have just recently managed to defeat Felmyst and are right on our tails considering progress inside the plateau. Good luck and hopefully we will see more from you soon also. And of course it is also nice to see some action on the alliance side by Turtle, hopefully the population disparity will not cause problems for you also. |

Enjoy the silence while you can, because the calm will not last much longer as our yearly summer holiday season is ending again. Not like the weather this year would have been very favourable for having a vacation, but that is totally another story. Majority of us were tightly behind four walls most of the time anyhow.
Like always, the start after such a break comes with its usual complications, but it is nothing that we are not able to overcome. And sometimes these raids have their silver linings; this time we were lucky to have such one as the first full Black Temple run after the summer. No, I am not talking about any new enhacements for the pants of our casters, but of something of a much, much higher rarity and quality. Although considering to who it was given, I might guess that this one also ends up being more of a garment than anything else.
Everyone knows that the probability of loot generation can be a tricky thing. And as we have not been the most active guild in rading the Temple, getting one warglaive from Illidan is always a welcome surprise. So congratulations to Hlr for getting the first legendary for Sisu in the Burning Crusade (no, Ashie's Atiesh does not count), may the blade serve you well during the forthcoming months. |
