This is actually both more and less old news, but news nevertheless. Again, the summer break (yes, we still do it) did what it does every year. Activity between people varies greatly, and we had a couple of challenging weeks getting proper raid compositions to try some of the more challenging encounters. But again, it did not stop us from trying, and most of all it did not stop us from progressing on.
It is quite a few weeks since the most dedicated of us managed to gain Bane of the Fallen King. I probably should have written a news item about it much earlier as it is not a feat easily achieved. Better later than never though, so congratulations to them! We also managed to straighten up our act to kill Sindragosa in 25man heroic mode, and quickly after that we cleared through of the few other missing achievements to gain the Glory of the Icecrown Raider (25 player).
This means that the next big challenges are 25man heroic Lich King and Halion, but for them it might be that Cataclysm is the biggest obstacle. Not that the new expansion is a bad thing. Even as good as Wrath of the Lich King has been, the content so far has been quite thoroughly seen now.
